Unfortunately, this is NOT my accommodation in Melaka. This is a reacreation of the Sultan's palace from around the 1500s.


Rickshaw drivers try to outdo each other with their wildly decorated carriages, and give tours around China Town and the Old Colonial Town areas. Time out and leisure are as prominent as hard work.



From the Dark Pink Dutch Influenced Old Town Area, one goes over a little river bridge to reach China town, where Portuguese and Chinese architecture and great Malaysian/Chinese/Baba Ngunya food meet.
