Kecak

Kecak is a fabulous dance performance, accompanied by a large group of chanting, swaying, half naked men. An ancient tale of love, loyalty, deceit, magic, and murder, is reenacted by the glow of oil lamps. The whole ambience is quite mysterious and full of surprising charactors in oppulent costumes. The power of the story and trance like quality of the accompaniment plays with strong mojo, and requires the sprinkling of holy water before and after the performance.
